High Performance Textiles Development. Handling projects in technical fabrics, added-value in terms of aesthetics, and combining a complex range of all kinds of fabrics into a new arrangement of textiles for seasonal product development.

I am ambitious about the art and design of high quality textiles which hold artistic appeal to the industrial methods in a sustainable way.

Since 2011, Attended and planing exhibitions such as Premiere Vision Paris, ISPO Munich, where I was able to draw trend forecast from many ideas and visionaries from the world’s leading fabric suppliers.

This certainly enhanced design philosophy, as I became addicted to transforming the poetic descriptions of the trend forecasts, and absorbs concept from all kinds of art & design areas.

Required strong know-how of many processes and weave technology knowledge and as well as strong ability for discussion and communication, dealt with a project.

I learned from this experience was the value of strong team work and mutual respect for others teams to allow all kinds of brand projects to become involved in my artwork and become a melting-pot of creativity.

2003 – 2006

The training courses included sketching and drawing, fashion illustration, design history, visual design, and Pattern design both woven and printing - Fashion marketing and branding.

Provided me with a strong foundation in design thinking and other essential skills, and led me to win first prize in textiles in Taiwan in 2005 with my piece entitled “Desolate Desert” – a deep reflection of a soul shrouded in a natural scenery image of a handloom and complicated dobby weaving.

I am interested in all fields of art and design, particularly design within digital media, such as textiles, film and technical textiles field. Textiles have influence all areas of my art, whether it is pressing textures into different kinds of end uses, such as apparel, interior, and home textiles, or more abstract applications.
